Jeremy is a singer/songwriter, voice over actor, writer, and performer available for hire. He was born and raised just North of Chicago. Ever since he was young he found refuge and passion in film, music, and theatre. His first real moments with performing were brought about by elementary school musicals. He remained a part of the musical scene into high school where he met and began composing pop songs with Rob Newman. As a result of their meeting he picked up the guitar in March of 1995.
In April of 2001 he began composing songs for his first release Forcythia. This full length album, released in February 2002, was created in the comfort of his own home and featured many different kinds of songs but focused on honoring the memory of his mother, Cynthia. The album only has vocals and guitar and all parts are played by Jeremy himself.
In August of 2002 he moved to San Francisco. Overwhelmed with all of the transitions, his new job, and his new place in the world he began writing again. A year later he approached producer Jerry Becker with twelve original songs. Six more weeks passed and The Goodbye Project was born. Like its predecesor, the songs are emotionally reflective. The lyrics deal with themes of loss and pain and give a very personal flavor to the album. Unlike Forcythia, The Goodbye Project features a full band sound and was recorded, mixed, and mastered professionally.
Jeremy is the kind of musician who will make your heart melt with his songs and leave you rolling with laughter. Here's a look back at his musical history, and yes it is meant to be historically accurate as well as humorous:
